Community Health and Wellbeing Limited (CHW) is proud to be attending, sponsoring and exhibiting at ICPA 2026, taking place at ICC Belfast from 25–30 October.

For us, ICPA is more than another event in the corrections calendar. It’s an opportunity to connect with people from across the international corrections community, share ideas, listen to different perspectives and explore what the future of corrections could look like.

This year, we’ll be bringing the latest version of EMPOWER to Belfast and showcasing how digital health and wellbeing can play a practical role in supporting people across correctional settings.

Supporting the whole person

The needs of people in custody are complex and varied. Supporting positive outcomes isn’t simply about addressing one area of health or wellbeing in isolation.

It’s about taking a more holistic approach.

EMPOWER brings five core pathways together within one comprehensive digital platform:

  • Fitness & Rehabilitation

  • Mind & Wellbeing

  • Courses & Education

  • Healthy Living

  • Useful Resources

Together, they provide access to a broad range of digital resources designed to support physical health, mental wellbeing, rehabilitation, learning, healthy choices and personal development.

And importantly, EMPOWER isn’t just about providing content.

It’s about access, choice and engagement — giving people the opportunity to explore resources that are relevant to them, when they need them, while helping facilities understand what is being accessed and how people are engaging.

Digital transformation with purpose

Digital transformation is increasingly becoming part of the conversation around modern corrections.

But technology itself isn’t the answer.

The real question is how digital solutions can be used meaningfully to support rehabilitation, improve access to health and wellbeing resources, build digital confidence and provide better insight for those responsible for delivering services.

That’s where we believe EMPOWER can make a difference.

It provides a flexible digital environment that can bring together resources from different areas, while giving facilities greater visibility of engagement and usage.

It also has the potential to support more than the individual.

Better access to health and wellbeing can contribute to wider benefits for staff, facilities and the people they serve — helping create environments where prevention, personal responsibility and rehabilitation can play a greater role.

We’re looking forward to the conversations

One of the things we value most about events such as ICPA is the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and have meaningful conversations with people working across the sector.

We want to hear what’s working.

What isn’t.

Where the challenges are.

And where technology could genuinely help.

Whether your focus is rehabilitation, health and wellbeing, staff support, digital transformation or improving outcomes across your facility, we’d love to talk.

We’ll be showcasing the upgraded EMPOWER platform throughout ICPA and would be delighted to arrange a demonstration.

And it doesn’t have to be a conversation limited to the exhibition floor.

If you’re attending ICPA, let’s grab a coffee, breakfast, lunch or dinner and talk about what modern corrections could look like — and where digital health and wellbeing could fit into that future.

We’ll see you in Belfast.

If you’re attending ICPA 2026, come and find the CHW team, say hello and see EMPOWER in action.

Alternatively, get in touch with us before the conference to arrange a meeting or demonstration.

We’re looking forward to Belfast, and to some great conversations with colleagues from across the international corrections community.
