After five inspiring days at the International Corrections and Prisons Association Conference 2025, we’re heading home from Turkey feeling energised, grateful, and incredibly proud.

CHW_Empower has officially launched in Australia, marking our first international expansion outside of the UK.

This week, Jonathan and Andy from Community Health and Wellbeing (CHW) had the privilege of spending the day at HMP Ashfield, one of our valued partners, to run focus groups, gather direct feedback from prisoners and staff, and promote CHW_Empower.

Over my 20 years working in the prison service, I’ve heard “You can’t do that” more times than I can count.

We’re delighted to share that Community Health and Wellbeing (CHW) will be showcasing our latest services and innovations at the ICPA Conference in Istanbul this October.
