

Wakefield Council are working
in partnership with voluntary and
community organisations, local
schools and childcare providers as
part of the WF Happy Healthy
Holidays programme, funded by the
DfE to provide free festive fun
activities and food for children and
families eligible for income –related
free school meals throughout the district.
The programme aims to reduce inactivity and
isolation experienced by many children across the
Wakefield district during the school holidays, as well
as providing children with healthy meals and
nutritional education.
Community Health & Wellbeing and FR PE Provision
will be providing THE BEST healthy food, and an
amazing array of activities that will keep your children
engaged across 4 days during the Christmas holidays
and beyond.
We encourage all children to attend every session to
get the most out of our enriching programme.
Is my child eligible?
If your child is aged between 11 – 16 and eligible for
income based free school meals then you are your
child is eligible.
How much does it cost?
Nothing! The sessions are fully funded by the
Department of education (DFE).
All sessions come with a top quality FREE meal
provided by our catering partners Wenjos.
We are based at Trinity Academy Cathedral in
Wakefield, WF2 8QF. Sessions start at 09:00am and
finish at 13:00pm.

December and are now available for booking.
Spaces are limited to 30 children.
